The 120 degree wide angle camera lens streams 1080P high definition video and audio, so you can keep an eye on what's important to you no matter where you are.
Setting up this WiFi hidden camera takes just a few minutes. First, download the free streaming app to your iOS or Android device. Then use the app to connect the camera to your existing WiFi network. You can also insert a memory card into the camera if you'd like to record video for later viewing.
In addition, the camera features invisible "no glow" IR night vision sensors that let you see what's going on even if the lights are low or completely out. Motion detection alerts notify you instantly of activity, so you can quickly pull up your camera to see what's going on.
You can even mix and match this WiFi camera with any of our other cameras and view them all from the same app.

Q. Are there any fees or costs to view my live camera feed?
There are never any additional fees or monthly costs to view, stream, or record video from this, or any of our WiFi hidden cameras. All you need is your existing broadband internet connection.
Q. Can I add additional cameras to monitor from the same app?
Yes you can! This WiFi hidden camera uses the TinyCam app, so you can mix and match this camera with any of the other TinyCam compatible hidden cameras and view them all from the same app. If you have any questions which cameras are mix and match compatible feel free to contact our sales team and we'll be glad to assist you.
Q. How do the motion detection/activity alerts work?
Motion alerts send you a push notification to your phone (like a text message) so you can get alerted instantly if your camera sees movement happening nearby.
Q. Does this nanny cam have audio too?
Yes this camera has both video and audio capabilities. Audio can be disabled if needed.
Q. Can I record my video from this hidden camera too?
Yes in addition to live streaming video, you can also record video to a hidden micro SD memory card up to 128GB. This allows you to have a copy of what your camera sees, even if you didn't see it live. Choose between motion activated video (most popular), or 24/7 continuous recording as well.
Q. How does the night vision work?
The camera has 940nm "no glow" invisible IR night vision sensors hidden behind the face of the device, which allow the camera to see in low light and no light situations. This allows you to get 24/7 video surveillance no matter the time of day.
Q. Can multiple people watch the stream at once (such as my spouse or partner)?
Yes you can share your camera login information with someone you trust, like a spouse or friend, and they can access your camera feed too if you would like.
Q. Do I need any special WiFi network or router for this camera?
The HC218w nanny cam is compatible with most wireless WiFi networks. A 2.4GHz signal is needed, which most routers have. Some WiFi networks may have additional layers of security (such as public WiFi networks like a coffee shop or business) that may need additional steps to connect properly, so if you are unsure of the security requirements for your specific network make sure to contact your network administrator to ensure compatibility. Note: Currently 5GHz networks are not supported, so make sure you are connecting to a 2.4Ghz signal.
Q. How can I watch my recorded video files on the memory card?
There are two ways to watch your videos recorded on the micro SD card. The first is to remotely view them using the smartphone app itself. Simply pull up the app, click on the recorded video files menu option, and click on the various recorded files to play or download. The second method is to physically remove the memory card from the device itself, and insert it into your PC or Mac computer for playback. This also allows you to easily copy or move recorded videos to your computer if you want to keep them.
Q. Am I able to live stream my video to a desktop or laptop PC or Macintosh?
Currently, WiFi hidden cameras like this bluetooth desk clock spy camera can only stream to the smartphone app for iOS and Android devices, they do not stream to desktop or laptop computers.
