    USB Flash Drive Audio RecorderJust like its predecessor, the VR95 features a high quality hidden microphone built into an ordinary looking and fully functional USB flash drive. The device is powered by an internal rechargeable battery able to get up to 24 hours of continuous recording, and up to 25 days of standby battery life in voice activation mode. Audio files are recorded to 8GB of internal memory, which can hold up to 288 hours of recordings at a time. You can also use the memory to store regular files and documents as well, just like a regular flash drive.

    Operating this flash drive recorder is simple - just rotate the dial on the end of the device to your preferred recording mode. Choose voice activation, and the recorder will record only when it detects audio nearby.  In continuous recording mode, it records until you turn it off. To listen to your recordings, just plug the flash drive into your PC or Mac's USB port, and double click on the files to play.

    Recorded audio files are saved to the device's internal memory, which can hold almost 300 hours of recordings at a time.
     
    Q. How can I listen to my recorded files?
    To listen to your recorded audio files, simply plug the flash drive into your computer's USB port and double click on the files to play. We recommend using VLC Media Player for best playback performance.
     
    Q. Does the flash drive recorder make any sounds or have any lights while recording?
    No this spy audio recorder does not make any sounds or have any lights while recording. Recording is completely covert.
     
    Q. Can I put this device in a pocket or bag and it still record?
    You can place the recorder inside a pocket or bag or drawer, however that will cover up the microphone and reduce the effective range, and may "muffle" the audio recording.
     
    Q. How is the flash drive recorder powered?
    The flash drive recorder is powered by an internal rechargeable battery, which allows it to get 24+ hours of continuous recording, or over 3 weeks of standby mode.
     
    Q. What exactly is "standby mode"?
    Standby mode is when the device is in voice activation mode, waiting to detect audio.
     
    Q. How do I start or stop recording?
    To start or stop recording, simply rotate the dial on the end of the device one direction or the other to your preferred recording mode (voice activated or continuous).
     
    Q. How do I set the time and date stamp?
    To set the time and date stamp, you'll use the included time set file. This is a one time process that will sync the time on your computer to the flash drive, so you can see exactly when your audio files were recorded. Note: At this time, the time stamp file can be ran on PCs only, however once set on a PC, the timestamp is viewable on both PC and Mac computers.
     
    Q. Can the recorder record while plugged in (such as to AC power)?
    Yes the VR95 audio recorder can record while plugged into devices like a wall charger.
     
    Q. Can I use the VR95 as regular USB flash drive too?
    Yes you can use the 8GB of internal memory for both regular files and as an covert audio recorder.
     
    Q. How far away can the recorder record audio or voices?
    The recorder can clearly capture voices up to about 15-25 feet away, depending on the volume of the person speaking.
