Once the camera is set up, you'll be able to monitor your live camera feed from anywhere in the world on your iOS or Android device. You can even set up motion detection alerts to get notified instantly if your camera detects movement or activity nearby.

Q. What size is the boxwood plant?

The total height of the plant and pot is approximately 8.5 inches tall. The pot itself is approximately 6 inches wide and made of plastic.

Q. How is the hidden camera powered?

The camera is powered by a high-capacity rechargeable battery pack hidden inside. The battery can get up to 15-16 hours of battery life on a full charge.

Q. Where is the camera lens located?

The camera lens is located within the leaves the boxwood plant fake leaves. This allows for maximum covert operation and no pinholes in the pot itself.

Q. Do I need any special kind of router or WiFi to use this camera?

This upgraded model is compatible with both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz WiFi networks, which means that is compatible with almost all WiFi networks. Some WiFi networks may have additional security (like coffee houses, hotels, etc) that may not be compatible with these types of devices.

Q. What if I move the camera to another location?

If you need to move the camera to a different location completely (such as from your house to office) you would need to reset the device and set it up again at the new location. If you are just moving it from one room to another room in your own house (within range of the same WiFi network) then you can do that without having to reset it.

Q. Can multiple people view the live camera feed at once?

Yes you can share your camera login information with someone that you trust (like a spouse or partner) and they can monitor the camera feed on their phone as well.

Q. Can I record video from the camera too?

Yes you can - in addition to live streaming video, you can also set the camera to record video to a hidden micro SD memory card (up to 128GB - not included). You can record either motion activated or continuous recording video, and view your playback remotely via the smartphone app. You can also physically remove the memory card and insert it into your desktop or laptop computer for playback as well.

Q. Does this camera include night vision?

The plant camera does not have night vision - it needs regular daytime light in order to record. If you need a night vision enabled camera we do have a selection of night vision hidden cameras here.

Q. How do motion detection alerts work?

Motion alerts send you push notifications on your smartphone letting you know that motion or activity has occurred - such as a person walking by the camera.
