The WiFi Trash Can Camera is one of our custom built Pro Series WiFi Hidden Cameras designed and assembled right here in the USA, and is perfect for both office or even home security. The pinhole camera lens streams 1080P HD video to your iOS or Android device, letting you monitor your live camera feed anywhere in the world.

We've made this hidden camera easy to set up and to operate. Just charge the hidden battery pack, and use our free smartphone app to connect the camera to your existing 2.4GHz or 5.8GHz WiFi network. The entire setup process usually takes just about 5-10 minutes.

Once you've got the camera up and running, you can enable motion detection alerts, which notify you instantly if the camera detects activity - like someone breaking into your office after hours. You can even set it to record motion activated video to a hidden micro SD memory card.

You can view your recorded video files remotely via the app, or remove the memory card and insert it into your PC or Mac computer for viewing.

The long life battery can get up to 15-16 hours of operation on a full charge, or you can upgrade to the optional 30 hour battery pack for all day monitoring. Q. How big is the trash can?

The trash can is approximately 12 inches tall - an ordinary size to put next to a desk in your home office or in a business or warehouse. It is a 13 quart sized trash can, and we recommend using 4 gallon trash can liners. We include 2 trash can liners to get you started.

Q. So I can use this as an actual trash can?

Yes you can! The camera and battery components are discreetly covered inside the trash can with protective covers, so you can put the trash can liner in the trash can to use it as a regular trash can. We recommend being gentle when putting trash in it.

Q. Will someone be able to tell that this is actually a hidden camera?

The camera and battery are covered with protective covers inside the trash can, and with the liner in, someone looking in would most likely not be able to tell there is a camera inside. However if they remove the trash can liner, they might notice the protective covers. So ideally we recommend using this particular camera system only if you do not expect anyone to be inspecting the trash can closely or removing the trash from it.

Q. How is the hidden camera powered?

The camera is powered by a high capacity rechargeable battery that can get 15-16 hours of battery life. We also offer an optional 30 hour battery upgrade.

Q. Do I need any special kind of router or WiFi to use this camera?

The trash can camera is compatible with both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz WiFi networks.

Q. What if I move the camera to another location?

If you need to move the camera to another location (such as from your home to your office) you simply need to press the reset button on the device and set it up again from the beginning at the new location.

Q. Can multiple people view the live camera feed at once?

Yes you can share your login information with someone you trust (like a spouse or partner) and they can watch the live camera feed as well.

Q. Can I record my video too?

Yes you can - the camera can record to a micro SD memory card up to 128GB in capacity. You can choose between motion activated and continuous recording modes. View playback remotely via the free smartphone app, or remove the memory card and insert it into your PC or Mac computer for playback.

Q. Does this camera have night vision?

The trash can camera does not include night vision it needs regular daytime light in order to see and recording. If you need night vision capabilities, we do have a list of night vision hidden cameras here.

Q. What are motion detection alerts and how do they work?

Motion alerts notify you if someone or something moves in front of your camera, like an intruder in your house or your pet jumping on the couch. The alerts are push notifications (similar to a text message) so you can pull up your camera feed to see what is going on.

Q. What if I have multiple rooms or areas to monitor?

If you have multiple rooms or even multiple locations (like your house and your office) you can mix and match the trash can camera with any of our other WiFi cameras and view them all from the same app.
