Yes you can share your camera ID and password that you create with someone, and they can monitor the video feed too. Just have them download the app and enter the camera info.

Q. Do I need any special WiFi network or router for this camera?

The HC215w clock camera is compatible with most wireless WiFi networks. A 2.4GHz signal is needed, which most routers have. Some WiFi networks may have additional layers of security (such as public WiFi networks like a coffee shop or business) that may need additional steps to connect properly, so if you are unsure of the security requirements for your specific network make sure to contact your network administrator to ensure compatibility.

Q. How do I watch my recorded video files?

There are two ways to view your recorded videos on the memory card. The first is via the app - you can remotely download videos and view them on your phone or tablet. The second method is to physically remove the memory card from the clock and insert it into your PC or Mac with the included USB card reader and double click on your video files to play.

Q. Can I live stream to a PC or Macintosh desktop computer or laptop?

At this time the camera streams to the smartphone app only, it does not stream to PC or Mac desktop or laptop computers.
