Q. Do I need any special kind of router or WiFi to use this camera?

The HC365w, like almost all WiFi streaming spy cameras, connects to 2.4GHz WiFi signals only. Many modern routers broadcast in “dual band”, which means they have both 2.4GHz and 5Ghz signals. Make sure that when you set up your camera, that you’re connected to the 2.4Ghz for optimal operation.

Q. What if I move the camera to a different location?

If you move the camera to another physical location (like from your home to your office), you'll need to connect the camera to the new WiFi network at that location in order to live view the video stream. See the included manual for reset instructions so you can reset the camera, and have it ready to set up at a new location

Q. Can multiple people view the live camera feed at once?

Yes you can share your camera login information with someone you trust, like a spouse or a partner, so that they can watch your live video feed too.

Q. How can I view the recorded videos from the micro SD card?

There are two ways to watch the recorded video playback from this hidden camera. The first is remotely via the smartphone app. The second is to physically remove the card, and insert it into your PC or Mac computer for playback.

If you have multiple rooms or even multiple locations to monitor (like your home and your office) you can mix and match this WiFi camera with any of our other compatible cameras and view them all from the same live streaming app.

Q. Can I have different cameras at different physical locations and monitor them all from the same app?

Yes as long as each camera is connected to a WiFi network wherever it is physically located (ie. Your home’s WiFi network at home, your office’s Wi-Fi connection at work), you can add all the cameras to the same app to monitor them in one location.

Q. What kind of memory cards does this hidden camera accept? Do I need any special kind of card?

For optimal recording, we recommend a high speed, name brand micro SD memory card. The camera accepts up to a massive 128GB size card.
