- Streams 1080P HD Video and Audio
- The LED light WiFi camera features one of the highest quality camera sensors available in a hidden camera, giving you 1080P high definition color video and audio streaming. You’ll be able to clearly see what’s going on, and make out people and faces, even across a room. The video quality can also be adjusted to 720P or 480P if you have a slower internet connection.
- WiFi Streaming Nanny Camera

- Night Vision Sees in the Dark
- In addition to regular daylight/normal light recording and streaming, the LED lamp WiFi camera also features built in IR night vision sensors, which allow you to see what’s going on, even if the lights are completely out. The IR sensors are the advanced “no glow” kind, so they do not emit any visible light that would draw attention to the fact that the night vision is enabled.
- Record Video to Micro SD Card
- Sometimes you may not be able to see something happen live on your camera, or you just want to have a copy of the video you can go back and watch at a later time. With the HC315w, you can record video to a micro SD memory card (up to 128GB) so that you can record either motion activated or continuous video. Yes you can add as many additional cameras to the app, and monitor all the cameras from the same app. The cameras can even be located in different locations (such as one camera at your house, one at your office), as you can monitor them all from the same app, provided that each one is connected to a WiFi network where the camera is located.

To watch your streaming video, simply download our free live streaming app, and then you can watch your camera feed live on your smartphone or tablet from anywhere in the world.
Q. What are motion detection/activity alerts?
Motion detection alerts (also known as activity alerts) are push notifications sent to your smartphone, letting you know that your camera has detected activity or movement nearby. This could be something like an intruder breaking in, or just your kids coming home from school. You can set the camera to record video to a memory card when activity is detected, or just alert you so you can pull up your camera feed to see what’s going on.
Q. Does this hidden camera record audio too?
Yes the HC315w records/streams both audio and video, and also features push to talk via the built in speaker and microphone.
Q. How does the push to talk work?
The push to talk feature allows you to both listen in, as well as speak through the built in speaker in the camera. This can be useful if you want to just talk to your pets or kids, or to let an intruder know that you’ve caught them on camera and the police are on the way. Push to talk is accessed via the app on your smartphone, just press the microphone button.
Q. Can multiple people watch the stream at once (such as my spouse or partner)?
Yes multiple people can watch the live stream simultaneously. To do this, just have the additional person/people download the live streaming app to their smartphone or tablet, and then provide them with your camera ID, and the unique password that you create during setup.
Q. Do I need any special WiFi network or router for this camera?
The HC315w is compatible with most WiFI networks. A 2.4GHz WiFi signal is needed, which most routers have. Some networks may have additional layers of security (such as public WiFi networks like a coffee shop or business) that may need additional steps to connect properly, so if you are unsure of the security requirements for your specific network make sure to contact your network administrator to ensure compatibility.
Q. How can I watch my recorded video files?
There are two ways to watch your recorded video files (that are saved on the memory card). The first is to remotely view the videos via the streaming app. The second method is to physically remove the memory card from the camera, and insert it into your PC or Mac desktop or laptop computer.
Q. Can I live stream to a PC or Macintosh desktop computer or laptop?
WiFi hidden cameras like this one stream to the smartphone app only, they do not stream to desktop or laptop computers at this time.

HC315w Lamp Cam
It's been a week since I've set this up, so far everything is running smoothly. The camera lens rotates which is cool, so you're not limited to one viewing angle. Night vision is good up to about 15 feet in the complete darkness.
